Depending on who you ask, October is the best month of the year. It brings cooler weather, gorgeous scenery, better fashion, and pumpkins. Pumpkin picking is always a fun, wholesome activity for families and couples to do. But where could you find some beautiful orange fruits? Yes, pumpkins are fruits, not vegetables. Anyway, enough science. Check out some of our favorite local pumpkin farms in the Dayton area.

When can I shop for pumpkins near Dayton OH? 

Tom’s Maze and Pumpkin Farm 

Where: 4881 Germantown Liberty Road, Germantown, OH 

For just $9 per person, you and your family can get admission to this giant eight-acre corn maze. Once you solve the maze, pick out your perfect pumpkin! There is a huge selection of pumpkins and other fall decorations at Tom’s.

Sizemore Farm has been around since 2007 and it always features a wide variety of pumpkins and gourds. Other family activities like hayrides and arts and crafts are also on site! 

Kleather’s Pumpkin Patch 

Where: 90 W Central Avenue, Springboro, OH 

Kleather’s is one of the most well-known pumpkin farms in Southwest Ohio. Their pumpkins and sweet treats make for a fun day for people of all ages!
