Routines can be nice, but sometimes you just want to get out and do something. Here are a few events and activities you can do in 2018 that won’t cost you much—or anything, actually. All of these are either cheap or completely free, so hop in your car and get driving!
Events near Dayton
Who doesn’t like laser tag? We certainly do! Don’t miss out on BOGO Mondays Laser Web laser tag. Okay, okay, so it isn’t completely free, but one ticket is for a game of laser tag or the laser maze. This is at Laser Web Dayton, so it’s nice and close.
For $5, you can go and dance at the Mangan Banquet Center over in Beavercreek and learn Scottish country dancing. This is every Monday from 7:30-9:30pm, so if you miss it one week, you can try again another time. Your first visit is free! No need to be a great dancer, either. The Flying Ghillies Scottish Country Dancers will teach you.
Over at the Cox Arboretum, you can see butterflies and moths in the butterfly house from 8-10am. Visit these live creatures for free. This is open every day, so plan for a day that suits you best!
Want to get away from the kids for a day? Take the Adult Nature Walk over at Eastwood MetroPark as a day to get outside for fresh air. This is a free event and only for those who are 18 or older. This event will happen on Tuesday, May 29th from 9-11am, and Tuesday, June 26th from 9-11am as well.
Get into shape, or stay fit, by joining the weekly fitness group every Tuesday from 7-8pm at Grace Crossing Church in Beavercreek.
If group fitness isn’t your thing, sing it out with Tuesday Night karaoke at Club Evolution at 8pm, while the club itself is open 7pm-12am.
