Honda recommends that you change the oil in your 2017 Accord every 7,500 miles or every 12 months, whichever comes first. You should never under any circumstances travel more than 10,000 miles without changing the oil, as that can be very damaging to your engine and your car in general.

If you have a tough time remembering when your car is scheduled for regular maintenance, you’ll be happy to know that the 2017 Honda Accord offers the Maintenance Minder function, which reminds you when maintenance is due.

I have 2027 Accord Touring and am very disapointed with the seating, after 30 min of driving I am very
uncomfortable because of fome density and configurations of the seats so when I read Honda as
making seating changes I was very interested in tracing, in reading further I see Honda is dropping the V6
in the Accord. This is very, very, very, very disappointing I do not like 4 bangers or terbos so now I will be
shopping for a different brand car. I can not tallorate 2017 seating

Honda should Not Discontinue the V-6 just Make it Optional, No Big Deal Right!!! Besides 4 Cylinders and Turbos hard on an Engine i Think !!!!

What is the oil capacity (with and without the oil filter) for a 2017 Honda Civic LX?

I have Accord 2017 and i’m Changing oil every 4000 miles. Is it possible to increase the limit?

I have a 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid. Most of my driving is on the highways (85% highway, and 15% local), at the recommended 7500 miles, my oil life indicator is at 30% or 40%, and it comes close to 15% at 10,000 miles. So I have been waiting until the maintenance minder comes to 15% before oil change. I drive 10,000 miles every 3 months or so. Is this good or bad idea (waiting until the maintenance minder goes to 15%)?

I agree with you 100% about the seating. Also looking for a different coupe with in next two years! Sad because I have always been a Honda/Acura person.

  8. Chris says:

I agree about the seats being uncomfortable. I’m really disappointed that my 2017 Honda Accord Touring doesn’t have memory with the side mirrors. It does remember seat position for 2 people, just not the side mirrors. For the price I paid, it should have been standard. I previously owned 2000 VW Passat….that 18 yr old car had the side mirror memory. Just cheap on Honda’s part.

  9. Mathew Stratton says:

the drivers seat is a 10-way power leather seat. I am 6 feet tall and was not comfortable when I first started driving. What helped was putting the seat back all the way and using the tilt. If you tilt it back you won’t feel cramped. I also have a bad hip joint. After buying this car, I have noticed I am not stiff after a long drive. This seat is very comfortable, I’m surprised you don’t like it.

My Honda dealership told me that if i make short trips my oil needs to be changed sooner (3500 miles) and if i go on longer road trips my oil can be changed every 7500 miles or longer. That my 2017 Honda regulates when i should get my oil changed. This does not make sense to me.
