2014 Honda Odyssey vs 2014 Nissan Quest

We’ve bragged plenty about the 2014 Honda Odyssey in Dayton, OH on this blog before. Whether it’s winning top marks in safety from the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety, or it’s outdoing the 2014 Toyota Sienna, there is plenty to love about the 2014 Honda Odyssey. Which is why it’s no surprise why, when compared to the 2014 Nissan Quest, the Odyssey once again blows away the competition.

2014 Honda Odyssey vs 2014 Nissan Quest
The 2014 Honda Odyssey, arguably one of the largest and best equipped minivans out there, is also the forefront in useful features, with its built in vacuum and plethora of entertainment options for families stuck on the road. But when put up against the 2014 Nissan Quest, it becomes rather surprising just how much more space you get in the Odyssey. With a minimum storage space of a mere 25.7 cubic feet, the Quest is outdone by Honda by over 10 cubic feet. The Odyssey’s minimum is a whopping 38.4 cu. ft. while it’s maximum is an enormous 148.5 cu. ft. The Quest’s maximum is only 108.4 cu. ft, nearly less than a third of what Honda has to offer. All that size adds up to more room for passengers and more room to store what’s needed.

Add to this massive size difference the higher fuel economy in the 2014 Honda Odyssey and it’s hard to make an argument for the 2014 Nissan Quest. On the highway, the Odyssey racks up 28 miles per gallon, while the Quest only manages 25, giving Honda’s prized minivan a much farther range and far fewer trips to the fuel pump.

All things considered, it’s easy to show people why when it’s the 2014 Honda Odyssey vs the 2014 Nissan Quest, the Odyssey outdoes its closest competition. The numbers speak for themselves.
