2017 Honda Civic Type R Prototype

The Honda Civic Type R prototype takes cues from the 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback, which introduced a sportier model to the Civic family. The Type R has an enhanced muscular body and styling to aid its aerodynamic performance. The exterior has a highly reflective, fine grained, brushed aluminum-effect finish. This is unique to the prototype car. It has an aggressive front facia with a winged carbon fiber splitter and sporty red accent line. It is a completely reimagined Civic.

The Type R incorporates smoked lenses for the LED headlights, indicators, and side indicator. It sits upon 20” piano black alloy wheels with red accents. It is a striking vehicle that asserts its place in the Civic line through its stylistic innovations.
