The holiday season is almost upon us, and one of our favorite ways to remember the spirit of the season is to give back to the community. There are a variety of food pantries and community kitchens in the greater Dayton area that are looking for volunteers or donations this year, so read on to learn where you can donate your time or money to those in need in Dayton OH!

Where to volunteer in Dayton OH 

Dayton Foodbank 

Where: 56 Armor Place, Dayton 

The Dayton Foodbank has been serving the Miami Valley for forty years and provides for more than 100 food pantries and community kitchens in the community. The Foodbank is looking for monetary donations or volunteers throughout the holiday season. For more information, click here. 

Good Neighbor House 

Where: 627 E First Street, Dayton 

Good Neighbor House is more than solely a food pantry; the organization also offers a wide variety of human and health services to those in need. Assumption Pantry 

Where: 1930 Fairport Ave, Dayton 

The Assumption Pantry has been in operation for nearly 50 years and is currently searching for donations and volunteers to get through the holiday season.
