2014 Honda Graduate Program Criteria
Most college students don’t look to buy a new car until after graduation, and that’s why Honda has instituted a special program to assist recent graduates in purchasing a vehicle. Graduation is fast approaching, and if you’re lucky enough to have a job lined up after school is done, we suggest that you check out all that the program has to offer. To help get you prepared, we’re taking a look at the 2014 Honda Graduate Program criteria, so that you can make sure you qualify for all of the program’s numerous benefits.
We’ll start off by telling you a little bit about how the program works. It’s a program exclusively for college graduates, which allows them to get special financing rates on a select number of Honda models. Through the program, Honda provides qualifying graduates with $500 toward any new 2013 or 2014 model when they finance or lease with Honda Financial Services. On top of the $500, the Honda Graduate Program offers a number of great benefits.
For one, qualifying graduates only have to provide a five percent minimum down payment, which is significantly lower than a typical down payment for a 2013 or 2014 Honda model. To make the car even more affordable, graduates have the option to defer the payment up to 90 days, 60 of which are interest-free. The program is a great way to start building credit right out of college, but one of the biggest benefits is that graduates can get the Honda that they have always dreamed of without having to worry about falling into financial troubles.
Now let’s take a closer look at the 2014 Honda Graduate Program criteria. We can assure you that there aren’t many stipulations, so don’t worry about that. The programs is hassle-free. All it takes is verifiable proof of employment or firm commitment from an employer with a start date no more than 120 days from the day that the financial contract is signed. It also requires proof of an associates, bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a US accredited college or registered nursing school.
Perhaps one of the greatest parts about the program is that graduates qualify for the Honda Graduate Program up to six months before graduation, and two years afterwards. So, if you’re unable to land a job straight out of college, you have two years to find one if you want to reap the benefits of the Honda Graduate Program. Like we said, the restrictions are quite loose, making the program extremely appealing.
